IRDB is a database for materials stored in institutional repositories in Japan. Those that can be searched include articles published in departmental memoires and journals, dissertations and theses, and digitised rare books stored by individual institutions. The Digital Collection features high-resolution images of our special collections. In addition to the images of Yukichi Fukuzawa's works and the incunabula collection that were previously available, the new site will feature the entire the Gutenberg 42-line Bible and the Nara Ehon and Emaki collection. Also, Seiichiro Takahashi's Ukiyo-e collection can now be viewed in high resolution.
