NDL Search is a search service for National Diet Library (NDL) catalogues, which are connected to public libraries, archives, museums, and academic institutions. Results in Japanese can be translated by machine into English.

IRDB is a database for materials stored in institutional repositories in Japan. Those that can be searched include articles published in departmental memoires and journals, dissertations and theses, and digitised rare books stored by individual institutions.

nihuINT is a unified interface to databases and resources of the National Institutes for the Humanities (NIHU), which comprises six national humanities institutes, and some cooperated institutions. This interface enables one to find humanities materials offered by the institutions.
